Schofield stays positive
13 May 2007 - 10:55:42
Lincoln City boss John Schofield remained positive about his side's chances after they were beaten 2-1 at Bristol Rovers in the first leg of their play-off semi-final.
Jeff Hughes' strike means the Red Imps are well-placed in the tie, as they seek to make it fifth time lucky in the play-offs.
Schofield said: "We're the top goalscoring team in the league so we've certainly got a chance.
"The players aren't too down-hearted. If it had been a league game they would have been devastated going away with nothing, but the aim was to make sure we were still in the tie when we went back up the road.
"As far as we're concerned we're very much in the tie."
