Ridley waits on Imps deal

Lincoln City loanee Lee Ridley is happy to wait until the end of the season to find out whether he can turn his move from Cheltenham Town into a permanent deal.

The 26-year-old former Scunthorpe United defender joined the Red Imps in January and has impressed in making 11 appearances for the improving League Two outfit.

He told the Evening Telegraph: "I'd certainly consider a move to Lincoln, I've enjoyed my time here.

"But we haven't spoken about that yet. With the manager currently undergoing his treatment, he's got far more important things to worry about.

"It's down to Cheltenham, too. I'm in regular contact with them and have a good relationship with the manager, Keith Downing, but I haven't spoken too much about next season yet with him either.

"I would imagine it will get sorted out at the end of the season."
