Lincoln City's assistant manager Iffy Onuora has confirmed that four Red Imps players have been released.
Goalkeeper Alan Marriott, defenders Gary Croft and Adie Moses and striker Mark Stallard will all leave Sincil Bank this summer when their contracts expire.
However, three other out-of-contract players - Jamie Forrester, Shane Clarke and Ayden Duffy - have been offered deals for next season.
Onuora told the club's official website: "Even in the relatively short space of time that I've been at the club, you get to know players well so these are always difficult professional decisions to make.
"The four experienced players who'll be leaving have been excellent professionals to work with and I've said to them all that this is only the end of one chapter here and there's no reason why it can't be the beginning of another chapter elsewhere."
