Lincoln City manager Chris Sutton has snapped up the former Darlington and Rochdale midfielder Clark Keltie on a contract that runs until the end of the season.

The 26-year-old started his professional career with the Quakers, making almost 200 appearances in his seven years with the club before being released at the end of the 2007-08 season.

He joined Rochdale and featured in 36 games for the Spotland-based side before being told he was surplus to requirements at the end of the 2008-09 campaign by boss Keith Hill.

Keltie was loaned out to Chester City and Gateshead this season before finally leaving Dale by mutual consent on Christmas Eve.
