Lincoln City's assistant manager Iffy Onuora is hopeful that the club will be able to attract some quality players to boost their squad this summer.
Onuora is overseeing the pre-season plans at Sincil Bank as manager Peter Jackson continues his recovery from treatment for throat cancer.
He told the Lincolnshire Echo: "We're talking to players and agents, selling the club and doing all the right things in what is a competitive market.
"The club, of course, have come through administration and now has stability off the pitch, which is very important.
"Some clubs at our level have been punching above their weight and suffered because of that.
"At this level, there's the financial side of things for players, but they also want to play for stable clubs and clubs with ambition. People can also see we're ambitious."
