Lincoln City have been boosted by the news that defender Jamie McCombe has decided to sign a new deal with the club.
The 23-year-old has impressed greatly since joining the Red Imps from Scunthorpe in March, helping guide the club to the Third Division play-offs where they narrowly lost out to eventual winners Huddersfield Town.
He will now be aiming to help Keith Alexander's men go one step further in the newly named League Two next season.
McCombe is the sixth player to pledge his future to the Sincil Bank outfit this summer following Matthew Bloomer, Simon Yeo, Marcus Richardson, Adam Kerley and Chris Cornelly all deciding to sign new deals.
