Lincoln City goalkeeper Alan Marriott has opted against a move to Bradford City, as he seeks regular first-team action.
The 24-year-old was a key figure in the Red Imps' run to the Nationwide Division Three play-off final and Marriott would rather stay ay Sincil Bank than sit on the bench for the Bantams.
He told the Telegraph & Argus: "I didn't want to go somewhere else and sit on the bench or fester in somebody's reserves.
"I have had contact with three clubs within the last month, but none of them would have been a good move as far as my playing career is concerned."
Imps chief Keith Alexander has yet to make any moves into the transfer market, as he continues to secure the services of most of last season's squad.
