Lincoln lose Hone to injury

Lincoln City centre-half Daniel Hone looks set to be sidelined for an extended period after suffering a knee injury.

Hone suffered the injury during Saturday's draw at Rochdale, going down in the second half after a block tackle caused his knee to jar.

Despite trying to carry on, Hone was soon replaced by Stefan Oakes and needed to be helped from the field of play.

"Early indications are that he's torn his ligaments," physio Michael Wait told the club's official website.

"I'll have a better idea of how long he's going to be out on Monday but it wouldn't surprise me if he's on the sidelines for six to eight weeks."
