Lambert full of pride

Wycombe Wanderers manager Paul Lambert hailed the never say die attitude of his players after the ten-man Chairboys came from behind to win their Carling Cup tie with Doncaster on penalties.
Stefan Oakes was dismissed 20 minutes from full-time but Wanderers bounced back from losing a goal in the second period of extra-time to draw level and then hold their nerve in the shootout.
"I never thought the game was gone," Lambert told the club's official website.
"I knew if we hung on to extra-time then it was just a matter of re-jigging it and getting the lads going again.
"Even when it went to 2-1 we changed it again and put two strikers back up front. I always thought we could get something and never in my career have I thought a game was out of reach.
"These nights are great for everyone connected to the football club. I just hope for the club's sake that we get a big gun in the next round and attract some interest."
