Jackson lands manager gong

Lincoln City boss Peter Jackson has been named as League Two's Manager of the Month for February.

The former Huddersfield Town manager took charge of the Red Imps in October when the club seemed to be heading towards the Blue Square Premier League.

However, Jackson guided City to five successive wins in February, before they lost 3-2 at Rotherham United last weekend.

The Sincil Bank-based side are now 16th in the League Two table, 11 points clear of the bottom two with 12 games of the season remaining.
