Jackson hails Burch signing

Lincoln City manager Peter Jackson has beaten off competition from several other teams to land the former Tottenham and Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Rob Burch on a two-year contract.
The 24-year-old made only three starts for the Owls last term before being released from his Hillsborough contract in May.
A delighted Jackson told the Red Imps' official website: "Since I let Alan Marriott go, the only keeper I wanted to bring in was Rob Burch and I'm absolutely delighted that he's said yes.
"When he came back from holiday last week numerous clubs started to come in for him, including a bigger club in our division, so I thought I'd lost him as it looked as though he was going to join them.
"The amount of interest that has been generated since he was released by Sheffield Wednesday has shown what a good keeper he is, so it's another major, major signing for me."
