Lincoln City manager Peter Jackson has set his sights on winning promotion next season following a brief return to Sincil Bank.
Jackson has been absent from the League Two club since March after being diagnosed with throat cancer.
The popular manager has not yet been given the all-clear to resume his duties, but is already looking forward to his return.
"I came to this club to achieve honours and to take this club forward to the next level and nothing has changed while I have been away," he said.
"This club should be fighting for promotion next season and I would be bitterly disappointed if we were not.
"Providing I can get the players that I want, then we will have a great chance of getting out of this league.
"I'm already talking to players and have spoken to four or five about coming here and being part of what I'm trying to achieve.
"I'm building for success and I won't settle for second best."
