Lincoln City have offered a second chance to Chris Fagan after signing the striker from the Glenn Hoddle Academy in Spain. The Republic of Ireland Under-21 international has been training at the academy run by the former England manager following his release by Hamilton Academical. Fagan began his career at Manchester United but was released in 2008. "I said as soon as last season came to a close that I wanted to bring young, talented players into the club and Chris fits that bill perfectly," manager Peter Jackson told the club's official website. "A number of clubs in Spain and the rest of Europe were interested in him so he could well be the signing of the summer in terms of potential. "Glenn Hoddle has put great faith into the club and myself by letting Chris come here and for us Lincoln City to become the first team to sign a player from Glenn's academy is a real coup for us."
