Imps snap up loan keeper

Lincoln City have landed Aston Villa goalkeeper Robert Olejnik on loan until the end of the season.

The Austria Under-21 international has yet to make a first-team appearance for the Premiership side after coming through the youth ranks at Villa Park, but was named on the bench on several occasions earlier in the season when first-choice keepers Thomas Sorensen and Stuart Taylor picked up injuries.

Olejnik, 20, will provide back up for experienced number one Alan Marriott.

The youngster's stay at Sincil Bank can also be extended should The Imps reach the League Two play-offs.
