    Imps add Gers youngster

    23 Jan 2007 - 14:42:29

Lincoln City have agreed a deal for Rangers forward Dany N'Guessan, who spent the first half of the current campaign on loan at Boston United.

The 19-year-old netted five goals in 26 appearances for the Pilgrims, having failed to break into the first-team picture with the Gers.

N'Guessan is the second new arrival in two days at Sincil Bank, with former Aston Villa youngster Paul Green having sealed his switch to the League Two promotion hopefuls.

The 19-year-old defender has penned a deal running until the summer of 2009 with the Red Imps following his release by Villa.

Green told the Lincolnshire Echo: "The Premiership is becoming increasingly harder for youngsters, because the chances of a game are becoming slimmer.

"So if you want to make a name for yourself, it may be that more young players will have to take their chances by playing lower down the football ladder."
