Lincoln City midfielder Lee Frecklington has agreed a contract extension to keep him at Sincil Bank until the summer of 2009.

The 21-year-old has been a regular for the Red Imps this season, having progressed through the youth ranks at the League Two club.

Boss John Schofield told the club's official website: "Lee has been superb for us this season and it's good to get him tied to the club for a few more years.

"He is a product of our successful youth development programme and it's great that he has shown his intention and signed an extension to his contract.

"That's what it's all about when a youth player comes through the ranks and stays with the club."
