Elding seals Imps switch

Lincoln City have snapped up striker Anthony Elding on loan from Crewe Alexandra.

The 26-year-old forward will remain with the League Two promotion hopefuls for three months.

Elding joined the Railwaymen in the summer from Leeds United but has struggled to hold down a starting place at Gresty Road.

"Anthony's career has stood still at Leeds and Crewe and I'm hoping he can get himself back on track here at Lincoln City," manager Peter Jackson told the club's official website.

Elding has started just eight League One games for the Alex this season.
