Clarke desperate for Imps role

Young midfielder Shane Clarke remains optimistic that he can eventually break in to Lincoln City boss Peter Jackson's first-team plans.
The 20-year-old has not started a League Two match since April with Jackson opting to start with Stefan Oakes, Lee Frecklington and Scott Kerr in midfield.
"Any one of Stefan, Scott or Lee could walk into any midfield in League Two," Clarke told the Lincolnshire Echo.
"Simply training with them helps me. Stefan Oakes, in particular, has plenty of time to help out the younger lads - I think it makes him feel younger.
"So, I know it's a big challenge to force my way into the side but I believe I can do it.
"I don't know if the manager will continue to play this new 4-3-3 formation but it gives me opportunities, because previously I only seemed to be on the bench when there was an injury."
