Butcher wants to stay

Richard Butcher has rejected a deal to have his contract at Lincoln terminated by mutual consent.The Imps offered the 29-year-old compensation to leave the club as his current contract does not expire until the end of next season, ."Richard Butcher is a problem because of his wages," manager Chris Sutton told BBC Radio Lincolnshire. "He doesn't seem to be overly keen on moving on in any shape or form."Meanwhile, fellow midfielder Sam Clucas has also been offered the chance to leave Sincil Bank.
