Bencherif's bizarre target

Lincoln City loanee Hamza Bencherif has optimistically targeted a play-off charge by the Red Imps, despite the club currently propping up the League Two table.

Bencherif's current club have only won three of their 17 league games so far this season, but the young defender believes that a meteoric rise up the table is possible.

He told the Lincolnshire Echo: "Even though we are in the position we are in, you must not give up, you must still keep believing.

"Anything is achievable and I still feel we can reach the play-offs this season, until it is mathematically impossible of course.

"All we need to do is string a few victories together and, with this league being as tight as it is, you will soon move up the table."
