New Loan signing from Tilly Steve Tilson has signed Reading defender Julian Kelly on a month’s loan. The versatile right footer can play as either fullback or on the right wing and is one of the Royals’ fastest players. Chances have been slim this season with just 50 minutes in the League Cup, but this lad will certainly liven up the Bank if he surges up the wing on the overlap. A shoulder injury ruled out the first half of last season although he got 9 appearances on loan against Wycombe, scoring the winner in a 1-0 win over Ashley Grimes’ Millwall. Julian’s arrival could see Greeny move across into the centre on Saturday, although having said that Mr Anderson is not exactly pulling up any roses is he?
