Tilson - We're not fit enough

Lincoln manager Steve Tilson blamed a lack of match fitness among his players after his side lost at home to Bradford. The Bantams secured a 2-1 victory at Sincil Bank with goals from James Hanson and Gareth Evans. Hanson put the visitors ahead after just two minutes. Referee Mark Brown adjudged Evans to have handled in the box and Ashley Grimes sent the keeper the wrong way to equalise for the Imps. Evans then made amends by scoring the winner from the edge of the box in the 41st minute. Tilson said: "The lads haven't played for some time and there were a lot of tired bodies at the end. "It was disappointing because we conceded two poor goals. The first goal was awful and the second goal was again disappointing. We made it too easy for them. "I've spoken to the chairman and he has said he will do his best for me. I need an experienced centre-half but I also need to bring in more players to increase the size of the squad."
