Tilson turns to France
Lincoln manager Steve Tilson is casting his eye over four French trialists.
Tilson is keen to bolster his squad defensively and in midfield, and he is looking to sign players on permanent deals rather than loans.
"I have got three or four lads coming in to have a look at and they are more on trial than ones we really know well," Tilson told the Lincolnshire Echo. "They are French players and you can get some very good players from there.
"We are looking at permanent deals with them rather than loan players because we can only bring in one more loan at the moment as the limit is five and we already have four.
"We need to strengthen in defence and in midfield, there is no doubt about it."
Tilson added: "It's a case of trying to identify players who can improve what we have got and who are available on permanent deals. Most of the players you go for are loan deals, there are not lots of players available on permanent deals at the moment."
