Tilson takes a point

Lincoln boss Steve Tilson conceded the goalless draw with Accrington was not a thrilling spectacle but welcomed an important point for his side. Stanley spurned several good opportunities to take the points on a Sincil Bank playing surface that made life difficult for both teams. "It wasn't a fantastic game, but it was a decent point for us and we move on to Burton on Tuesday," Tilson said. "We are going to get games like that on a bobbly pitch. "Accrington played with only one man up front but that's the system they play and they played it quite well. "There's not a lot we can change to try and win a game. We are struggling a little bit as we are a bit light on bodies at the moment. "But the effort and the desire not to get beaten pleased me. We ground out a result. Another eight points should see us safe from relegation."
