Tilson pays tribute to Imps

Lincoln manager Steve Tilson paid tribute to his side's "character" after the 2-2 draw against Wycombe. The Chairboys twice led through Kevin Betsy and Scott Davies before Lincoln hit back courtesy of Ben Hutchinson and Mustapha Carayol to earn a share of the spoils. The Imps found themselves a goal behind inside the opening minute before getting a foothold in the game to claim their first away draw of the campaign. "It was a very open game with two sides both trying to go and win it," said Tilson. "Once we got the second we looked like we could have gone on to win it. We didn't look like a side that were struggling to score goals. "To go a goal down was not the greatest of starts but for us to come back shows a lot about our character as a team. Mustapha Carayol's goal was a fantastic strike but Mustapha can still improve. Attacking-wise we get good width and two goals away from home is very pleasing. "Drewe Broughton should probably have scored with the chance he had late on but I told him to keep getting in those positions and he will start scoring. The worry would be if he was not getting in those positions."
