Lincoln boss Steve Tilson admitted his side were well beaten after the 5-0 defeat to Bury. The Imps suffered their heaviest loss of the season thanks to a goal from Andy Haworth and braces by Nicky Ajose and Ryan Lowe. He said: "I had watched them and knew how good they were, they are a top of the table side, and at the moment we are at the other end. "I felt we could have stopped three or four of their goals, but I have no qualms about the result, they were the better side. "They are one of the hardest-working teams I have seen, at times their centre-forwards were tracking back 50 yards to help out. "We had to be at the top of our game to get anything from the match."
