Tilson hails victorious Imps

Lincoln boss Steve Tilson hailed his side as "fantastic" as they won 2-1 at injury-hit Morecambe to record their second away victory of the season. The home side led at the break thanks to Phil Jevons` early strike but Lincoln were level through Moses Swaibu and Ashley Grimes nipped in front of his marker to claim a 57th-minute winner. Tilson said: "The first half was poor but the lads showed great character and togetherness to get the points and a fantastic win. "We just didn't get close enough to Morecambe in the first half and we made it too easy for them. "I told the lads at half time that they were there to be got at if we went about things the right away. "They did as they were told and we were much the better team in the second half and could have won the game by a much bigger margin. "I know we came here in the bottom three but I see the lads day in and day out in training and know how capable they are and they just need to do things more consistently from now on."
