Tilson hails Imps' response

Steve Tilson was delighted to see Lincoln bounce back from their midweek horror show with a 2-0 victory over Morecambe. Two goals from Ashley Grimes gave the City boss his sixth win in seven games and provided the perfect response to the humiliating 5-1 defeat to Shrewsbury on Tuesday. Tilson said: "It was nice to keep a clean sheet, it wasn't the nicest game to watch to be honest, we had two or three injuries, but the players stuck together. "Everybody played their part, Trevor Carson in goal made two or three good saves and Ashley's second goal was fantastic, but the rest of the lads kept them out. "You could say it was Ashley's goal which won us the game but everybody played their part from the keeper right through to Delroy Facey up front."
