Tilson disappointed with loss

Lincoln manager Steve Tilson was left disappointed after his side's good run of form came to a temporary halt in a 2-0 defeat to Chesterfield. Goalkeeper Trevor Carson`s error allowed Craig Davies to pass into the net but made up for his error when he saved a penalty from the same player. Dean Holden fired home a second goal late on as the Spireites won for the first time in six games. Tilson said: "The result was disappointing but the players gave everything." He added: "Carson will be disappointed with the way he conceded the first goal but it shows the character of the lad. "He's a great lad and nothing fazes him. He made a mistake and just got on with it. "He will be a top goalkeeper but for the moment I'm just pleased that he's here and doing a fantastic job for us."
