Tilson demands Imps improvement

Boss Steve Tilson insists Lincoln must improve at both ends of the pitch following the 2-0 home defeat to Northampton. The result leaves Tilson still looking for his first win since taking over as manager, but he acknowledges that things are going to take time to get better. "I was disappointed with the second half, in the first half we did okay but in the second half we gave them too much respect and got punished from another set piece," said Tilson. "We have got to be a little bit braver, everything has been positive since I came here, in training, and the second half at Wycombe, but in the second half against Northampton we weren't good enough. "We have got to improve in both boxes, the second half worried me if I'm honest. "I've brought in a few loan players, it is a big challenge, but it is not going to happen overnight."
