Three new faces in Imps squad

With centre-half Moses Swaibu injured and winger Aaron Brown playing out of position as part of the back four, defenders Baker (18) and Lichaj (20), both signed on loan from Aston Villa, could make their full debuts once their registrations are approved. Smith is also in line for his debut, with the Bermuda winger signing a short-term deal with the club. The trio's arrival has been offset by the departure of another loanee, Sergio Torres. The winger returned to Peterborough this week so Lichaj could slot in at left-back and pave the way for Brown to return to his preferred role out wide. Chris Sutton experienced defeat for the first time as Lincoln manager at Northampton last weekend and has options available should he wish to freshen-up his side, with the likes of player-coach Ian Pearce, Scott Kerr, Cian Hughton, Lenell John-Lewis and Jamie Clarke all pushing for recalls. Paul Connor is closing in on a return to match fitness following a knee injury but this game is likely to come too soon for the striker.
