Sutton proud of 'mammoth effort'

Sergio Torres scored the decisive goal seven minutes from time after he was played in by Richard Butcher to give Sutton his first win in charge of the Imps.[LNB]The win lifts City up to 18th in the table, and the former Blackburn and Celtic striker said he was pleased with his players' performance.[LNB]Sutton said: "On balance I thought we deserved to win the game. We restricted Aldershot to just a few chances and created opportunities ourselves.[LNB]"It was a big game for us, but we've got to make sure we don't get too far ahead of ourselves.[LNB]"The players did everything we asked of them. At times they made one or two mistakes, but it was a real mammoth effort. I'm really proud of the players."[LNB][LNB][LNB]
