Sutton hails "significant coup"

Manager Chris Sutton believes the arrival of Ben Hutchinson could ignite Lincoln`s season. Sutton signed the highly-rated striker on a season-long loan from Celtic on Wednesday after seeing his side miss a host of chances in the 2-0 home defeat to Torquay last weekend. Sutton sees Hutchinson as the ideal candidate to help end a sequence of three successive defeats that has left Lincoln rooted to the foot of the League Two table and out of the Carling Cup. "I have to say this is a significant coup for a club of our size because he has a good pedigree. He is tipped to have a bright future and this is his chance to show what he can do and I am confident he will," said Sutton. "As a manager, I am very excited he has agreed to join us. "He is quick, he is strong and he is good in the air. I am as disappointed as anybody about our start but signings like Ben are only going to improve us and move us forward."
