The Imps started with on-loan duo Drewe Broughton and Davide Somma in attack and the pair put in an impressive display to help Sutton's side move 10 points clear of the relegation places.[LNB]Somma, signed on loan from Leeds following injury scares to the club's four recognised forwards, marked his debut with the 46th-minute opener, leaving the City chief to hail a positive display after their midweek horror show at Port Vale.[LNB]"I thought Drewe Broughton and Davide Somma did well, they worked hard," said the former Blackburn striker. "The players have done well for me over the last month, but they got a bit tired.[LNB]"We are in the position we are in, the players got a bit anxious and nervous towards the end but we defended resolutely. I thought Rob Burch made a couple of good saves.[LNB]"We went with four players in midfield, but we have got no natural width or a ball carrier. I am well aware what we lack but we will get on with it."[LNB][LNB]
