Sutton bemoans slow start

Lincoln boss Chris Sutton bemoaned his side's poor start after they crashed to a 2-1 defeat at Chesterfield. Dominic Green scored a spectacular strike after 19 minutes before turning provider to set-up Barry Conlon for the 50th-minute winner. The Red Imps improved massively after the interval and pulled a goal back thanks to Moses Swaibu's 20-yard strike, but it could not prevent a third successive defeat. "We didn't start well enough again," said Sutton. "I thought we didn't really deserve to be behind but it was a good goal. The second goal came from the third phase from a corner which we have struggled on in recent weeks. "I thought that we were a bit unlucky not to equalise but it goes without saying you can't afford to give sides a two-goal start. Defending set pieces is something we have to deal with better. "We don't score enough from set pieces and we certainly concede too many. Some people react quicker than others and at the moment, we aren't reacting."
