Sutton appoints new first-team coach
Lindsey arrives at Sincil Bank as first-team coach replacing Simon Clark, who left the League Two club by mutual consent on Wednesday following a month as caretaker boss.
The 37-year-old's most recent post was as technical development coach at Gillingham.
Sutton said: "I have got nothing against Simon Clark, it is just a case of me wanting to bring my own people in."
Meanwhile, City chairman Bob Dorrian revealed plans to strengthen Sutton's squad are already underway.
He told the Lincolnshire Echo: "There's a possibility someone could come in before the weekend, but it's unlikely."
