Simmons wanting permanent chance

The 19-year-old is on a month-long loan from Championship side Derby but has been unable to make his Imps debut due to an ankle injury. Simmons could make his bow against Notts County on Saturday and is eyeing a permanent deal at Sincil Bank - especially with Dany N'Guessan being linked with a move away from the club. "Having trained with him (N'Guessan), it's not surprising teams are showing an interest in him," Simmons told the Lincolnshire Echo. "I don't mind which side I play, but probably prefer playing on the left so I can cut inside on to my right foot. I like taking people on and getting crosses in. "My aim is get offered a contract here. I'm quite settled in Derby, but if I've got to move to get first-team football then I'm prepared to do that."
