Veteran Pearce suffered a hamstring injury against Rochdale on Saturday, leaving Sutton with just two fit centre-backs for Friday night's home clash against fellow strugglers Hereford.[LNB]Manager Sutton, without on-loan Aston Villa centre-half Nathan Baker for another month and Adam Watts for the rest of the season, said: "Ian has damaged his hamstring and he looks like he could be out for a while."[LNB]Star midfielder Chris Herd only has an "outside chance"of facing the Bulls.[LNB]Sutton added: "Chris hurt his ankle at Rochdale, but has been telling me that he feels ok and that the swelling has gone down.[LNB]"He has had a scan and we're going to have a look at it but, at this stage, I would say he would be a real outside bet for the Hereford game."[LNB][LNB]
