Patulea unsure over Imps future
The striker, who has scored 11 goals this season, limped off in the 1-1 draw with a suspected hamstring injury.
"It (the injury) is very deep. My opinion is that my season is finished, I'm very disappointed," Patulea told the club's official website.
With a new contract for Patulea not yet agreed, there was an emotional farewell for the forward who came off with ten minutes left. The Romanian was adamant that he wanted to stay at Sincil Bank next season but admitted that his future remained uncertain.
"They know about my opinion, when they want to discuss with me I would be happy to discuss with them.
"I was just feeling that this could be the last applause for me. I believe that in the future we can maybe work again together and I can make them happy again."
