The Romanian striker, who is well-known for running with his wife on his back, moved to England from his homeland in 2008 and scored 11 goals last season for League Two Lincoln before joining Orient on Tuesday. And he is determined to impress on the pitch, telling the club's official website: "As a striker it is my job to score goals and I am confident I can do that at League One level and help Leyton Orient progress." As for his unusual fitness technique, he hopes people will start to know him more for his football. "It seemed to attract a lot of headlines and hopefully I can make many more by scoring lots of goals for Leyton Orient," he added.
