On-loan Lichaj banned for Imps

The Aston Villa youngster begins a three-match ban following his red card in the League Two defeat to Morecambe last weekend. His absence could pave the way for Hungarian defender Janos Kovacs to return to the starting line-up.

Midfielder Stefan Oakes has resumed training and comes back into the reckoning after missing out through injury at Christie Park.

Paul Green is also back in training after recovering from hip surgery but the right-back remains some way off a return to first-team contention.

Imps boss Chris Sutton insists Lincoln will not be underestimating their non-league opponents, and said: "I think over the years they've caused a few upsets and last year they were unlucky to lose to Southend, so they will think they're in with a chance.

"But if you'd asked me would I rather draw Norwich, Leeds and Charlton or Telford I would pick Telford, and that's no disrespect to them because we are expecting a tough game."
