N'Guessan scored his eighth goal of the season as the Imps edged closer to the play-off places with a 1-0 win, with Jackson quick to hail his in-form winger.[LNB]He said: "I just thought this pitch would be ideal for Dany. It's one of the biggest in the league and I just told the rest of the players to give him as much of the ball as possible.[LNB]"He's so quick and skilful that he was bound to cause problems out there. I'm delighted to say he didn't disappoint me.[LNB]"But I was pleased with all the lads because it was a good all-round performance and a clean sheet. We haven't had many of those lately.[LNB]"I thought we were very comfortable at half-time and I was just urging us to get that second goal to kill the game off.[LNB]"When it didn't come there was always the danger of Vale snatching an equaliser and that nearly happened at the end. Robert Burch had to make two good saves."[LNB][LNB]
