Lincoln Rain In Spain Now For Wednesday
MAJORCA TRIP A SUCCESS Lincoln Ladies have returned from their training camp and are raring to go in the new FA WSL. With forthcoming friendly’s planned against Sheffield Wednesday (away) this Sunday and the English Colleges (Home) coming soon LLFC are also set to continue their vigorous warm up plans. The Green Living resort was home for LLFC last week and saw them training twice a day in the outstanding facilities provided the Son Manera hotel. Whilst away, LLFC organised a friendly against Spanish Premier League Outfit Collerense FC. LLFC coasted to a 3 -0 victory with Aisthorpe opening the scoring late in the 1st half. Staniforth and Cantrell added goals in the 2nd half. Rod Wilson was said to have been ‘delighted’ with the team’s performance and said the weeks training and facilities provided at Son Manera have been fantastic.
