Lincoln line up quadruple loan swoop
Clark, who has been in temporary charge since Peter Jackson was sacked at the start of the month, travelled to East Anglia on Wednesday to watch reserve-team games at Ipswich and Norwich.
He said: "We took in a couple of reserve-team games and we have identified four players, two from Ipswich and two from Norwich, with Football League experience and I will be speaking to their representatives."
Clark added it was doubtful there would be any new arrivals ahead of the trip to Bury on Saturday. Should he be able to get any more new players in it is more likely to be in time for next weekend's home game against Notts County.
Clark signed midfielder Sergio Torres on a month's loan from Peterborough a week ago.
