Lincoln hint at Clark appointment

Clark was put in charge of first-team affairs at Sincil Back after Jackson was sacked last week and led the Imps to a 3-0 victory against Darlington in his first game at the helm. And Dorrian told the Lincolnshire Echo: "Simon has done a good job so far and the win at the weekend did his chances no harm at all. It just happens to be he matches the kind of boss we are looking for. "Whether he can fit all the other attributes we want remains to be seen. But he will be given the chance to put forward his case and at least he provides continuity and the fact he already knows the players." Former Cambridge boss Gary Brabin and Kettering manager Mark Cooper are also in the frame to replace Jackson.
