Lincoln boss slams Cheltenham staff

After Jamie Clarke had cancelled out Justin Richards' early opener for Cheltenham in Saturday's League Two encounter, defender Brown was dismissed for a 69th-minute challenge on Town midfielder Theo Lewis, which sparked a mass confrontation between the two sets of players on the pitch.[LNB]Then, as Brown made his way off, scuffles broke out as the two benches confronted each other and after a seven-minute delay, referee Graham Salisbury showed further red cards to Imps substitute Ian Pearce and Cheltenham sub Barry Richardson, neither of whom actually got onto the pitch during the game.[LNB]Sutton, who was sent to the stands as a result of the same incident, said: "It was wrong. I think they were trying to influence the referee.[LNB]"I think that what happened is not on. Players and coaches should not be influencing the ref to send players off."[LNB]Sutton, mystified as to why he was sent to the stands himself, added: "I don't really know why. I just asked the ref why he'd sent Aaron Brown off and that was all."[LNB][LNB]
