Jackson targeting top seven spot
The Imps scored the winning goal after 49 minutes when on-loan striker Anthony Elding converted a low cross from Aaron Brown.
A delighted Jackson admitted: "We firmly believe we can do it, it is a big ask but this is an ideal start.
"We needed it after Saturday, we got beat by Grimsby but it was never a 5-1 game.
"We needed a response from the players and we got it.
"Wycombe are a tough side, they have been up there all season but we deserved to win."
