Jackson looking for more firepower
But the Imps manager has been left in the dark over possible signing Michael Bridges, who has been on tour with Norwich this summer as a trialist.
"I've spoken to Michael's representatives but I have not heard back from them," he said.
"So, I am not sure about that one as nothing has happened yet."
City have already signed Chris Fagan and Paul O'Connor but the club are hoping to bolster their squad with another forward before the League Two season kicks off next week.
Jackson told the Lincolnshire Echo: "I have been frustrated by the situation, but there are lots of managers looking for strikers who are in the same position."
