Jackson disappointed with point

Morecambe captain Jim Bentley headed in Craig Stanley's free-kick to open the scoring after 18 minutes, before Paul Green netted his first goal of the season late on to secure a 1-1 draw.

The Imps could have won it at the death but Dany N'Guessan's last-gasp strike came back off the foot of the left-hand post with Morecambe goalkeeper Barry Roche beaten.

Jackson said: "In the end I am disappointed we didn't win the game.

"Paul Green scored a rare goal and Dany N'Guessan almost snatched the win for us at the death and if we had another five minutes to play I'm pretty sure we would have won the game.

"We were poor in the first half but we really came strong in the final 20 minutes."
