Imps wait on Herd

Lincoln will make a late decision over Chris Herd's fitness ahead of the clash at bottom club Darlington. The midfielder returned from a groin problem to play in Saturday's 2-1 defeat at Chesterfield but was taken off as a precaution after 56 minutes. Herd has since been receiving treatment and is rated as 50/50 to feature. Nathan Baker is still struggling with an ankle problem and is expected to be sidelined for a few weeks, while fellow defender Adam Watts is rated 50/50 due to a hamstring problem. If Watts fails to make it, Moses Swaibu and Danny Hone will be likely to retain their places in the starting XI. The Imps will be looking to put an end to their three-match winless run.
